Optional Tours

Optional Two-Day Trip on Dec. 17-18, 2017

Taiwan is a mountainous island located off the southeast coast of the Asia continent between Japan and Philippines. Taiwan contains amazing landscapes and spectacular scenery, such as the marble cliffs of Taroko National Park and Danshuei River Mangrove Wetland. Besides, Taiwan was influenced by multiple cultures, including Chinese, Japanese, Dutch and aboriginals. These cultures are reflected on Taiwan’s unique customs, historical sites and delicious cuisines. Our organizing committee plans three optional tours after the conference to Taipei, Sun Moon Lake and Taroko (Hualien). Please join us to explore Taiwan!
